The tendency to blame computer games in all problems of children is declining. Until recently there was a hard myth that the games are useless and only ruin the children's lives and their parents. But scientists from New Zealand from the British Medical Journal have refuted this. They published data that says that games can help teens get rid of depressed mood and protect against stress.

Scientific experiment lasted for seven weeks and during that time scientists have observed the players whose characters expressed negative facial expressions from resentment to anger. Eventually it was discovered that thanks to playing adolescents showed decreasing symptoms of depression and anxiety. At the same time there was a group of guys who were "treated" by conventional psychologists and comparative results shocked many! In the group where was playing games 44% of adolescents showed a complete recovery, and in the group with psychologists - only 26%, and of course those who were treated with help of games were delighted to be in such experiment!
